RCB va MI
47 / 100

IPL 2024 MI vs RCB Highlights: Despite Jasprit Bumrah’s remarkable 5/21, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) reached a competitive total of 196/8, fueled by Dinesh Karthik’s fiery unbeaten 53 off 23 balls. Earlier, Faf du Plessis led with a solid 61 off 40 deliveries, complemented by Rajat Patidar’s brisk 50 off 26. However, Mumbai Indians turned the tables dramatically, effortlessly chasing down the target. Ishan Kishan blazed a thrilling 69 off just 34 balls, followed by Suryakumar Yadav’s explosive 52 off a mere 19 deliveries. Rohit Sharma contributed 38 runs off 24 balls, while captain Hardik Pandya showcased his aggressive prowess from the onset.

RCB faced early setbacks with the dismissals of Virat Kohli and Will Jacks during the powerplay after Mumbai Indians elected to bowl first upon winning the toss. Kohli fell victim to Jasprit Bumrah’s precision, followed by Jacks’ departure at the hands of Akash Madhwal. Captain Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar then stabilized RCB’s innings with an 82-run partnership off 47 balls. However, the momentum swung once again with the quick dismissals of Patidar, shortly after reaching his half-century, and Glenn Maxwell, who continued his struggle with yet another duck in this challenging season. Du Plessis, however, managed to secure his own half-century amidst the turmoil.
