Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors missed 11 games following a shoulder injury last Dec. 14 against the Indiana Pacers. The Warriors went 6-5 during that span, which meant that they are still hovering around a .500 record more than halfway through the season.

The Warriors will host the Toronto Raptors on Friday at the Chase Center. They are coming off a nail-biting 122-120 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. Curry was ejected late in the fourth quarter for throwing his mouthpiece towards the stands.

However, it seems like the four-time MVP will be available to play against the Raptors. Curry was not part of the latest injury report and the league didn’t suspend him for his actions.

Steph Curry has missed just one game ever since returning from his shoulder injury. Curry was rested in the Golden State Warriors’ shocking 120-114 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers last week. The Warriors were without four of their starters due to the game being the second night of a back-to-back.

While Curry is expected to play against the Toronto Raptors, Andrew Wiggins was listed as questionable and Andre Iguodala is out. Wiggins has a non-COVID illness, while Iguodala continues to deal with a sore right hip.

With around a minute left in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Steph Curry was ejected for throwing his mouthpiece in the stands. It was the third time in Curry’s career that he got thrown out for the same action.

The two-time MVP wasn’t arguing with an official, but was upset that Jordan Poole attempted an ill-advised shot. He explained after the game that emotions got the better of him. However, he was happy that Klay Thompson hit a big shot, while Poole made the game-winner.

“The intentions and the energy around what matters in the sense of winning, that’s what it’s all about,” Curry said. “Thankfully, my teammates responded extremely well. Klay with a big shot, JP with the game-winner at the end. Execution was great.

“We needed that one, so there was a sense of urgency for sure. Kind of let my emotions get in the way of it.”

Curry finished the game with 34 points, two rebounds and three assists. He has played okay since returning from injury, averaging 27.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Great numbers for the four-time champ, but he’s just shooting 43.8% from the field and 37.0% from beyond the arc.
