For Tom Brady, Christmas will look different this year both on and off the football field. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing Christmas Day on the road versus the Arizona Cardinals. The quarterback divorced supermodel Gisele Bundchen in October after 13 years of marriage.
He spoke on the “Let’s Go” podcast about spending time with his three children without Bundchen in the picture. Brady said:
“It’ll be a new experience that I’ve never had before that I’m gonna learn how to deal with. And I think that’s what life’s about. So you just asked a question about what have you learned from this football season? I’m gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I’m gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional.”
Brady added:
“And then look forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the day after. Which is, you know, just part of what football season has been for a long time. So it’s just, again, it’s emotional aspects that allow us to thrive.”
The 15-time Pro Bowler and supermodel’s divorce was supposedly caused by his decision to play one more season. Brady initially retired prior to the start of the season, but that retirement lasted all but 40 days. Now, the main focus of the former A-list couple is their children.

In all, Tom Brady has three children: two sons and a daughter. His oldest child is son John Edward Thomas Moynahan, whom he had with actress Bridget Moynihan. Next, he has a son named Benjamin Rein and a daughter Vivian Lake, whom he had with Bundchen.
Bundchen has been seen with the children as Brady has been playing with the Buccaneers this season since their divorce. Following the Buccaneers’ Week 16 matchup versus the Cardinals, the five-time Super Bowl MVP will have plenty of time with his children.
Win or lose, Tom Brady will have a great Christmas but hopes he and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can defeat the Cardinals.
