Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a left knee injury during his team’s Week 13 clash against Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. The former league MVP sustained the injury after getting sacked in the first quarter of the game. Jackson was initially deemed questionable to return before being ruled out.

The diagnosis later confirmed that Jackson had suffered a PCL injury, forcing him to miss the Ravens’ Week 14 clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley, who stepped in after Jackson’s injury and led the Ravens to a 10-9 win over the Broncos, started the game against the Steelers.

During the game against the Steelers, Huntley also suffered a head injury and was ruled out of the game with a concussion. Third-string quarterback Anthony Brown took over and played well enough to lead the Ravens to a narrow 16-14 win.

The Ravens, who are in action tonight against the Cleveland Browns, face the prospect of having to start their third-choice quarterback if Jackson and Huntley fail to recover in time.

Unfortunately, for head coach John Harbaugh and his team, they will be with Lamar Jackson for the game against the Browns tonight as he’s yet to recover from his PCL injury. The veteran coach said Baltimore’s star quarterback won’t be available for a game or two but will return to the starting lineup sooner rather than later.

Who will be the Ravens’ starting quarterback against the Browns tonight in Lamar Jackson’s absence?

It’s not all doom and gloom for the Ravens. Quarterback Tyler Huntley is out of concussion protocol and will be the team’s starting quarterback against the Cleveland Browns tonight in Lamar Jackson’s absence.

Huntley has thrown for 275 passing yards and rushed for 72 yards in his two appearances this season. He started four games last season in Jackson’s absence but won only one game. The Ravens will rely heavily on their ability to run the ball and use Huntley as a passer in a limited capacity against the Browns tonight.

Baltimore is locked in a tight race with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in the race for the AFC North division title. Both teams are 9-4 and neither can afford a slip-up to give the other the upper hand as we enter the final four weeks of the 2022 regular season.
